An Introductory and Evolutionary Review of Women's Religious Madrasahs in Buner District
Abstract
In relation to the present, the discussion of this matter and the discussion of the matter, the ahta4a, were given to the women of Bonarm. The evaluation of Madrasahs is to be made public so that it is clear that the time is right. And the honor a man gets is the same as a woman gets a reward. The manifestation of Anina's blessings is seen in the form of the human race spread throughout the universe. For this reason, as much right as a man has on this earth, a woman has the same right. When it comes to the right, the acquisition of knowledge is the basic right of a human being, whether he is a man or a woman. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "" طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلٰی كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
The aim of Islam was to bring all humanity on a level. In his kingdom, low and high, king and donkey, rich and poor, women and men all had equal status. Therefore, he gave the message of equality to the whole world through his teachings, commands and laws. God's statement is:
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا ‘‘.
Translation: "And whoever does good deeds, whether male or female, and is a believer, such people will enter Paradise, and they will not be wronged in the slightest." In addition to this, Allah the Exalted said in another place in the Holy Qur'an. They are :” يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا “
Translation: O believers! Save your lives and your family from fire. Allama Alusi writes in the commentary of this verse: This verse makes it clear that it is necessary for a person to learn his duties and responsibilities and it is also necessary to educate his family members.
The extent to which the world had progressed before Islam was only the charisma of the moral and mental powers of the gender (male). Egypt, Babylon, Greece and India were the cradles of great civilizations. But there was no interference in the cultivation of women. When Islam came, it included the struggle of genders (male and female) in resources and development and a new color and flavor was created in its civilization. In the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), there was no formal madrassa like Dar Arqam or Safa in the beginning for women, but despite this, women's education was organized. It has been reported in a tradition of Bukhari that "Once a woman came to the service of the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah! Men remember the Hadiths by being in your company. Please reserve a day for us too. Therefore, the Prophet ﷺ fixed one day in the week. Where they used to gather and he used to teach them.
The role played by the women of any nation in the education and training of that nation does not need any explanation. Mother's lap is the child's first education and training center. Therefore, the religious education and training of women is no less important than the religious reformation of men for the Muslim nation. One is because the address of Islamic rulings is the same for men as it is for women. Rather, there are certain rules that belong to women only. And secondly because the training of women ultimately proves to be the means of training the entire nation. It was also the custom of Sir Sarwar Alam that in his public sermons both men and women were addressed, but sometimes he ﷺ held a separate assembly to address women in particular. Later on, the Muslim Ummah organized religious madrasahs for the religious house of women in every region and in every age, so that the religious education of women can be done with special attention through them.
Similarly, Bonier region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also has the characteristic that there is a lot of attention paid to the religious education of women and various religious madrasahs are performing their services.
